I think that the sweet cover with the couple came first because it's a sweet cover with a couple. The hot guy came second because it's a hot guy and likely to get more sales. I like the sweet cover more. Amirite?
What Lori said - seems no matter how good the story is, unless it's got a practically nekkid person on the cover, people don't seem to want to read it. Less is more for me, so teh sweet cover for me too.
The muscular guy with the beard is the original cover; the couple with the woman acting like a monkey is the newest one.
As you can probably tell, my favorite is the guy. He is the very picture of Griffin, the hero. If I remember, Lori (highly problematical), you couldn't get into this book while I thought it very enjoyable. I have no explanation for this; maybe I'll come back as a Sarina Bowen heroine, lol.
I had a side note to add but alas, I did a bit of cleaning up the prose first and now I've forgotten what it was. I'm sure it was very interesting though. ;-)
