Sept. 10 is the one year anniversary of Charlie Kirk's death. Right wing media will probably go insane because it's become a meme, a joke, a reason to laugh. My own daughter is sending out Kirkentines to celebrate (like Valentines but says things like: If you're not mine this Kirkenversary, it will be a shot to my neck.)
I like to consider myself a decent person. I care about people, I care about my community. But, I have to admit, I've laughed at some of these. I laugh at all the jokes about when he dies. And I decided that it isn't being morbid and it isn't being cruel. It's just what happens.
When you decide to live your hatred out loud, don't expect to be mourned.
