Holy shit, it rains a lot in Hilo!
This is 3 minutes away from where I live. (This is an older image but holy beer guzzling redneck Christ! it feels like what's going on right now).
I haven't left my apartment in 3 days because it's relentless. I can't even check my mail because I'll have to swim to get to the mailbox.
I want to buy groceries but I refuse to go outside.
Can someone send an ark to rescue me?
I can try. We need that water here, for sure. With a week of plus40C days coming, leaving the house might not be a good idea here either. Let me see if I can get my guy to call your guy and organize something... Be safe!!

ReplyDeleteMother Nature is pms'ing, that's for sure. Or she's just taking the piss. 43C today and tomorrow the same, followed by a week of 35C or more. This little hobbit is not built for such weather. I think I'm going to thump the next person who sings/play Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow...
